Wednesday 22nd May - walk **** – Around Felixstowe – after a wet start we had sunny periods.

After last nights very heavy rain it was still raining when we woke, I was hoping to go for a windsurf foil today as the forecast looked promising but we were having Maeva for a couple of hours so we walked around to pick her up at 9.45 after breakfast. Lucky the rain had cleared to reveal sunny periods so after a chat with Jay and Maeva with breadstick in hand we set off to Morrisons so Mag could check out the flowers, they have a good selection there along with some top kids clothes, we resisted the clothes but Mag got three plants. Then with Maeva munching on a huge cheese scone we walked the short distance to a little park and had it all to ourselves and we enjoyed a yummy sausage roll:) Then Maeva had loads of smiles and giggles on first the swing, followed by the big see saw and finially the sprung dolphin. It was time to take Maeva home and she quickly fell asleep, then we realised that we had left the flowers at the park so quickly returned and luckily they were still there, we are getting as bad as each other of late, old age is a terrible thing! We then walked back via Walton and home were Mag sorted her flowers, I checked the wind, it was a off at Felixstowe and I had missed high water so decided to give Levington a miss today, fingers crossed for tomorrow! So with Mag sorting her new plants I did my exercises I the back garden in between some very light showers. Then after a yummy hot cross bun we went and sorted out our garage which has got out of control lately, I have a van funn of old windsurfing gear to be taken to the dump, a spot is booked for 9 tomorrow morning. As it was a lovely afternoon I decided to have a quick walk down to the peir to take some pics of the amazing clouds. I was choosen as Editors Pick o the BBC for the second day running but am not holding my breath it will get o nthe TV as Alex Dolann dosent seem keen on me:(
